Great story, nice performance
Where does Les Apparences rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I am familiar with the story in English so enjoyed listening to it in French as a challenge. Nice performance and easy to follow along with the dual narration.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot and characters are really engaging.
What does Odile Cohen and Julien Chatelet bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I have read it in English, and was listening to it in French for a challenge. They acted the characters well, and made for engaging listening.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Most of it is pretty thought provoking.
