Pretty good

Overall this is a pretty good story. I found the ending unsatisfying which is exactly the same as where the last book left me. The characters and writing are solid though but I don’t feel any excitement for “what’s next in the series.”

Great action and character development

Great start to what looks to be a good series! RC Bray brings it to life as always I am almost to the point where I don’t want to buy a book if he’s not narrating 😬

Narrator was excellent!

A great narrator can make or break a story. This one made the book come alive. I’m hoping the author has additional follow-up books. If so, I hope it’s the same narrator.

Love the general story. R.C. Bray is a wonderful narrator. I understand that there are bad officers in every military, but the issue is that poor leaders are segregated by the good ones. Yes, careerist officers and NCOs can screw up a unit. But this Captain's behavior was too predictable throughout, a bit too idiotic. His stepping up at the end was a good twist.
Overall I enjoyed this Audio.
