Publisher's summary

From #1 New York Times best-selling author Brandon Sanderson comes a new novella collection, including a brand-new, never-been-published story.

Stephen Leeds is perfectly sane. It's his hallucinations who are mad.

A genius of unrivaled aptitude, Stephen can learn any new skill, vocation, or art in a matter of hours. However, to contain all of this, his mind creates hallucinatory people - Stephen calls them aspects - to hold and manifest the information. Wherever he goes, he is joined by a team of imaginary experts to give advice, interpretation, and explanation. He uses them to solve problems...for a price.

His brain is getting a little crowded and the aspects have a tendency of taking on lives of their own. When a company hires him to recover stolen property - a camera that can allegedly take pictures of the past - Stephen finds himself in an adventure crossing oceans and fighting terrorists. What he discovers may upend the foundation of three major world religions - and, perhaps, give him a vital clue into the true nature of his aspects.

Legion: The Many Lives of Stephen Leeds includes the novellas Legion and Legion: Skin Deep, published together for the first time, as well as a brand-new Stephen Leeds novella, Lies of the Beholder.

Well. Now I know what my 5 star metric needs to be..

An excellent book needs a fantastic narrator. Luckily for us, it happens in this book. There are a lot of difficult areas where the narrator nails it. I think I’ll listen to it again, a great read!

Fantastic story and performance

Stephen Leeds is such an interesting character. The novellas each tell a great adventure. There's subtle connections to the previous ones and the final one completes Stephen's story. This collection feels like a full novel.

The vocal performance is also very well done. Each character's voice is distinctive allowing you to immerse in the story. Which is huge in this book with all the different characters.

When is this coming to Netflix?

I am huge a fan of all things Sanderson. This series is Sherlock Holmes meets Gregory House and Doctor Who all rolled into one somehow vulnerable character Stephen Leeds.

Most of the time I think that Sanderson’s stories are too intricate to be put on television and probably even into a film; however, these three short stories would make a fabulous foundation for a full series. I’d love to see Sanderson hand this off to Hollywood under the direction of his production team. I think you’d see many A list actors lining up to play Stephen Leed’s aspects.

One of the weaker books from Sanderson

Parts 1 and 2 were excellent, part 3 was just weaker overall. Narrator was excellent as always.

Fascinating

I thoroughly enjoyed the three novellas and the performance was spot on, as well. The third story was a great way to wrap it all up. Well done!

Phenomenal

Sanderson does it again. I have yet to be disappointed in his work and this is 3 of them all together.

The mofo does it again.

Its Sanderson. This is his usual epic quality. If you have read his other stuff you know there is no need to say more. Just buy it and read it.
