Legendary King lives up to his name: a true legend and a king in the streets. His life was perfect with his dream woman by his side. That was until tragedy struck, causing him to lose it all and end up behind bars. His only plan when he gets out is to get back to the life that he worked so hard to build, but it doesn't take him long to realize nothing will ever be the same. He's haunted by the night that changed his life, and simple tasks, like breathing, prove to be difficult. He does all he can to shake the nightmare, but nothing helps. Promise Israel is the youngest of her siblings but the first person they call when they find themselves in sticky situations. Nothing or no one has ever or would ever come before the men in her life, not even her longtime boyfriend, Ron. When Ron lands himself in jail, Promise decides it's time to focus on herself and move forward. Moving forward seems short-lived when Promise finds herself tied to Ron for longer than expected. When she meets the handsome stranger wanting to save her from heartbreak, she tries all she can to push him away, but he isn't willing to let her go.

Promise holds what Legendary needs, and Legendary is everything that Promise wants. Do they pursue a forbidden love, or let it go before situations go from bad to worse?
