Publisher's Summary

The alligator had a good life, but his neighbor was a little a**hole. His neighbor just happened to be a squirrel. Not all squirrels are a**holes, but this one was. What was the poor alligator to do? He did what anybody would do: went into his garage and built a 60mm machine-gun, a flamethrower, and a grenade launcher, with which to deal with the problem. Then, suddenly, things got crazy.

For More Information Watch AP

This was a delightful, over the top, story, but if you think of it as an adult fairy tale and then compare to what children's fairy tales are like, it is exactly as described. There were points where I rolled my eyes, laughed out loud and chuckled in between. It's a very quick read at just over an hour and well worth the time if you want something funny and a little out there.

Noah DeBiase does a great job with the narration and adds sound effects that add to the humor of the written piece. I'm sure that I laughed harder with the sound effects adding to the mood of the story than I would have without them.

Oh, and if ever there is an actual show on Animal Planet (AP) depicting these characters, I'll surely watch it, too.

I received a free copy of this audio book for my unbiased review. The opinions here are entirely my own.

incredible

I received a free code to listen to this book and I did so willingly

this was quite the unexpected. I had a rather great laugh. The author has a very different imagination. the frantics of the squirrel had me in stitches.

Very well narrated... I do think the sounds came through way to loud for my liking... but all and all it was enjoyable

A "ballsy" A**hole squirrel ..

I received this audio book free of all costs & in return I'm offering my unbiased opinion & review of this book . I don't normally listen to stories about animals , especially a story about an a**hole squirrel . But I did & I was surprised , I should add , pleasantly surprised because this is a humorous story . The a**hole squirrel has enemies who wish him harm , there is alligator , a bear & a possum all armed with a machine gun , flame thrower , grenade launcher & possum even has a guided missile . No spoilers , but that weaponry should of been enough . This is a fast paced story that is quickly filled with new characters , we hear about the white pointer , the anti obese moray eel . We even hear about the turtle that worked with Francis Ford Coppola & the penguin that supplies second rate products . The pace that the narrator keeps this story moving along with many & various sound effects is very impressive . As I said , I don't normally listen to stories solely involving animals & fish but this has alter my opinion , maybe in the future I will listen to more if they are funny & interesting as this short story is .

Chitter, chitter, chitter...

I love this bad a-- squirrel. The sound effects and music included in this short story keep the book fresh and exciting. Never before have I listened to an audiobook such as this one. Course language, violence and every possible tool of mass destruction is mentioned in this story. Clever, creative and the narration top rate.
Would love to listen to more by this author.

Not Your Average Fairy Tale!

Legend of the A**hole Squirrel: Adult Fairy Tales, Book 1. Written by Seth Chambers is a wild and wacky adult fairy tale. With the caveat that not all squirrels are a**hole but in this story, the starring little treerat is one. With his chitter chitter as he mocks his fellow creatures. You have to like an Alligator wearing sunglasses who can build a 60mm machine-gun, a flamethrower, and a grenade launcher. Mr. Gator also rides a Harley Davidson Fatboy so you know things will get real for the squirrel at some point in the story with an enemy like the gator.

The story holds the listener's attention with its tongue in cheek humor and jokes. The entire audiobook only runs 1 hour and 12 minutes. I could have easily listened to more from this author about these characters. The narration is provided by Noah DeBiase. Mr. DeBiase brought a strong skilled vocal quality to this audio production. The sounds effects and sound engineering really enhanced the overall production. This created a one truly amazing audio performance. The production quality of this audiobook is also the highest quality. I heard no problems during the entire performance. There were not any detectable flaws that I was able to hear during the entire performance such as loops, breaks, or buzzing. The production was crisp and clear. Seth Chambers delivered an excellent audiobook production. I highly recommend this audiobook. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Something Different!

This is a short (a little over an hour) and fast-paced comedic story with sound effects. It reminded me of an improv comedy skit that spiraled out of control at some point and now the animals are building artillery in their garages. I would say to anyone listening "just go with it" and try your best to keep up with the action.

This is a quick audio book listen and very entertaining. Because of the length of the audio, I was able to listen to its entire story in one enjoyable sitting.
