unanswered questions

I feel like a book should stand on its own. It deserves a proper ending. This book clearly leads to another part. Otherwise, decent story.

Pretty good effort.

This book is the first in a series and it is a pretty good one. It does leave many unanswered questions that I assume will be addressed in future installments. It has a YA feel and though I'm not a big fan of that genre, this one still kept my attention. I'm looking forward to the sequel to this book. The narrator is decent enough and does her best with the voices.

No ending. next in series will pickup?

I dislike series where there is no true storyline break between books. when will the next one come out? will I need to reread this one to recall details going into the next one. how many will I be forced to buy or read before getting to the end? 3...5...12...20...

Review of legacy

I enjoyed listening and that is my first criteria. Breaking that into parts, next I would say Suzy Jackson did a great job with the narration/performance. Each character was distinct, so there were no moments of confusion on who was speaking. Autumn Kalquist has crafted a story that is intriguing and portrays humanity living on spacecraft as they search for a future. Again, this is an enjoyable listen:-)

Dark story but well written and well read

Dark story but good. Several unlikeable/immoral characters, main characters can die and story ends fairly abruptly. Will be getting the sequels and I hope the story is going somewhere-- got a good feeling it will. Well written and narrator is fantastic. Recommend.

Characters we don’t care about

Characters we don’t care about fail to do anything of particular interest. Truly boring and a waste of time. I will skip the sequel

Depressing

I kept waiting for it to get better but after 6 hours of listening, I gave up. Part one leaves you hanging & half way through part 2, I felt like there was no hope for the characters. The main character in part one is left hanging & the main character in part two is killed off while pregnant. I'm not sure what the point of the story is unless it's to totally depress the reader/listener in which case, it did a great job.

This was a terrible book.

It took everything to finish this book. The story does not get better. The characters don't grow. Overall there is no point to the story. It is all the worst and most boring parts of any Sci-fi book. There is no way I would ever waste the time to read another book in this series. I'm a little irritated that I wasted my time waiting for this story to get better... but it never did.
