Publisher's Summary

Jenny Fletcher had selflessly put her needs and dreams behind those of her fiancé, Hal, a man more committed to a cause than to her. On the eve of his departure for Central America, he gave Jenny what she wanted more than anything... one passionate night. It was his final gift.

Cage Hendren was the opposite of his brother, Hal, in every way. The black sheep of the family, he was all rough edges, with a soft spot for just one thing: Jenny. But she'd always thought Cage was too wild and reckless - until he showed her a wildness in herself she hadn't known was there. And now that she's been led astray... she couldn't possibly turn back.

1 of 2 returned

What disappointed you about Led Astray?

Stupid story about nothing! I have read Sandra Brown's books for years but this one is a trite romance. No story or mystery!

What do you think your next listen will be?

Brockman

What aspect of James Jenner’s performance would you have changed?

I am fine with the performance - the content is boring.

What character would you cut from Led Astray?

Nothing needs to be cut. Something needs to be developed.

It drags

This story just drags and I got tired of it. There is almost no action whatsoever and I’m going to return it
The narrator doesn’t add anything positive to it. He does not do female voices very well and sometimes I can’t tell the difference which can add confusion
Don’t bother getting this book

Narrator

I’ve read this book before and loved it but I just can’t get past the narrator. He sounds like an old man and it doesn’t help you get into the story. When the main character is a young hot stud and then you have an older guy voicing him it takes away from the story for me.

No real plot

One of her first books I think, a love story with no plot. Narration was great

Touching and Great Story

Led Astray is yet, but another wonderful book from Sandra Brown. I have 9 audio books by Sandra Brown and I cannot wait for another.

Yikes!

The story is lackluster at best. The romanticism of the male lead raping the female lead is atrocious. The narrator's constant wet swallowing sounds make an already awful story even worse. I couldn't even make it through the entire thing.

Misses the mark

This book was a disappointment all around. The misogynistic male characters, near helplessness of the main female character, the lacklustre story and full narration all left me feeling the ick. Not the usual style of this author of whom I am a huge fan.

I may not be a romance fan after all.

I've read so many lovely reviews and hate to not add to another stellar rating for SB but I wasn't crazy about this one. The story did not sink its teeth in like so many of SB's books gave for me in the past. Nice story and killed a few hours of boredom and silence.

Overall the story was interesting and kept my interest up.

Did enjoy the interesting way the author tied everything together. Family dynamics’s can certainly take a lot of twist and turns.

Beautiful story and a favorite of mine

This is my first time listening to the audio version of this book. I've read the printed version a million times since the 7th grade (now in my 30s), It's a great read and the story is very much relatable to real life events with a beautiful ending.
