another great story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

love this series of the damaged goods property mgmt team. the big question Luke or Logan?? what will happen

I liked it but...

I didn't like this one as much as the first book in the series. The main character called another character the dark prince less which was a welcome change. I still cringed at the holding a breath or let a breath go lines. I really like the dynamic between the characters but I was sad this wasn't a simple murder mystery.

OMG! So good!

This book was better than the first one if that is even possible! I love the direction this series is heading in. The narrator really brings the story to life! Now onto book 3! 👍

Glad I stuck with the series

I mentioned in my last review that I had listened to the books out of order because of a cross-over with the Laundry Hag. I did not love the first book in this series partly because of the spoilers. I am glad I stuck with the series. I am still not thrilled with some of the relationships, but the book is cozy, fun, snarky, and worth the listen. I think Suzanne Cerreta is the perfect narrator for the series.

I want to be Jackie.

I love Jackie so much I'd like to be her. She's got two gorgeous men fawning over her and if she's lucky she can finally find the right one.

Good Stories

2 brothers and the wife of one Jackie have a management company called Damaged Goods. Trouble and Jackie seem to go together, and the hilarious problem and murder are fun to read, good narration, given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Second book

Jackie and her husband are having some troubles in their marriage as they try to figure out how to be together after he has been deployed for most of their 7 year marriage. And there is also Logan, her brother-in-law.... There were so many great moments. Jackie is always a target when their crew is trying to handle the property-management cases. Sometimes hilarious.... But what is going on with Luke, and their marriage. Does she know Luke as well as she thought? I read this book in 2017. I love this series. And I was fortunate to get Audible codes so I could enjoy this again. The narrator is really good!

Lease on the Beach was a good follow-up to the first book. The cases this trio is involved in keep getting bigger and bigger. To the point where I’m wondering if we’ve passed the cozy mystery genre and stepped right into romantic suspense territory. Don’t get me wrong, I’m definitely not complaining, I’m a huge fan of both. Tension within the Parker family keep rising. You know that things won’t end well for all of them. Someone is bound to have their heart broken, because things can’t go on as they have. I really appreciate how the characters have issues. That they have to work for solutions, there are no easy fixes. None of them are picture perfect, they are all human. Suzanne Cerreta is the perfect choice of narrator for this series, she understands the characters, their personalities and brings them to life in a brilliant way. I love her passion for the story, she makes you believe and make you a part of it. This series has hooked me, and I need to know what happens next in this family. A copy of this book was generously gifted to me by the author.

Another great book

The sexual tension between Ace and Logan continues to sizzle in this book, while Luke continues mostly being a jerk. Great follow up to book 1.
