This is the best book on the American market for beginning French. The whole step-by-step series is simply fantastic. it is a very good way to perfect your French.This audio book would help literally anyone at any stage of learning the language.

I use it as a reference audio book because I have never taken French before. Sometimes when I am unable to understand, the authors' explanations are simple and easy and it is easy to carry.

Getting by en Francais day by day.

This audio book can get you started, and also, in my case, keeps you going. I would call this situational French.getting you by and knowing common idioms important particularly in French and quick word usage. A helpful get it.

This is great for someone who may need to learn french quickly, for conversational French, someone traveling to French speaking countries. I would recommend this to anyone with an interest in French. It's easy to follow the story lines and State of the art for self-instruction.

This is the audio book I have been looking for

After many years of exposure to French and not really ever mastering it. This has been tying my loose ends up for me. I can now actually function in French. It is such a sigh of relief. I am looking at advanced proficiency and comfort now.

This will help you get started

As a previous high school french learner this helped reintroduce what I had learned and hadn’t spoken in 30 plus years. Years later I use this along with other tools for the past years to progress to a level 2-3 french speaker. To truly become proficient in a language one needs to listen and speak every day or most days.
