If you're sick and tired of Spanish programs that teach 20th-century Spanish when we're living in the 21st, then keep reading....

We're living in a time when language is changing faster than any other time in history. Think about it. We don’t just eat eggs nowadays - we eat cage-free eggs and free-range eggs. We don’t just watch wrestling and boxing - we watch the UFC or MMA. We don’t just do aerobics - we do CrossFit. And when we need an extra boost of energy, we don’t just drink coffee. We drink energy drinks and we take smart drugs or nootropics. And like it or not...we don’t only have male or female any longer. We also have transgender.

Now I’m going to tell you something extremely important that my competitors don't want you to know. If you want to master real conversational Spanish for the 21st century, then you need a program designed to teach you real conversational Spanish for the 21st century. Because using a program designed to teach 20th-century Spanish is not going to do the job. And that’s where 21st-century Spanish comes into play....

Here’s what you get:

  • Audiobook number 1: 21st Century Spanish Words & Phrases teaches over 2,000 Spanish words and phrases for the 21st century

Modern Spanish for the 21st Century

I buy nearly every foreign language audiobook this author releases. However, I received this one for free. I am a member of a special email list the author has where he gives members advanced copies at no charge in exchange for a 100% honest review. Whether I liked the audiobook or hated it, I am obligated to disclose the truth. With that said, I will go on record to say that even if I had to pay for this audiobook it was definitely worth it.

The first audiobook in this 2-in-1 bundle is a vocabulary builder that will teach you an abundance of 21st century Spanish with respect to technology including Spanish words and phrases for username, password, @ symbol, upload, download, mobile app, spam folder, wireless internet connection, drop down menu, icon, USB Port, upper case/lower case. As well as 21st century Spanish words and phrases related to food or eating healthy such as Spanish vocabulary for veganism, organic food, hormone free, grass fed, free range eggs. I also learned Spanish vocabulary words and phrases for digital nomad, blogger, Uber driver, software developer, graphic designer, crowd funding, search engine optimization (SEO) and more.

The second audiobook in this 2-in-1 bundle includes 21 different Spanish conversations for the 21st Century, covering topics such as the challenges of having a transgender child, at the UFC/MMA gym, cyberbullying, eating organic food, buying Viagra at the pharmacy, pros and cons of getting a butt lift or lipo in Latin America. There's even a free PDF transcript of both audiobooks in my Audible "library." In conclusion, I must say that I learned more modern Spanish than I was expecting and I now feel a lot more confident speaking Spanish, especially if I had to have a conversation with a 20 something year-old Spanish speaker who wants to talk about 21st Century topics.

I love the lesson on eating healthy and veganism

There is a lesson, actually a Spanish conversation and an accompanying vocabulary list, which covers eating healthy where I picked up a lot of Spanish vocabulary for how to say things such as veganism, cage-free eggs, hormone-free, organic food, etc. I love this lesson because I want to eat healthy not only at home but also when I am vacationing in a Spanish speaking country. By the way, there is also a downloadable PDF which I can access on my laptop if I log-in to audible and go to my "library" page. The PDF really helps me remember all of this 21st century Spanish I am learning.

This was a brilliant idea

t was a brilliant idea to create a program that teaches modern Spanish. If you think about it, everyday we use words that we didn't used 15 years ago. This really happens with social media and technology. It's very useful having a Spanish audio program that takes this into account. There's also a downloadable PDF in my audible library that's a transcript of both audiobooks.

Spanish that you can use nowadays!

The greatest benefit of using these audiobooks is that you are learning Spanish for the 21st century. I don't think there's is anything else quite like it in the learning Spanish market. If you are into combat sports, like one of my students who I tutor in Spanish, there's even a Spanish conversation about training at the MMA or UFC gym. And if you are into technology and the Web, when you finish with this 2-in-1 box set you will have learned a truckload of Spanish vocabulary words and phrases for technology and the Web by the time you've completed these two audiobook. And did I mention this audiobook even offers Spanish for students who are vegans or vegetarians?

Fantastic way to learn a ton of technology words

This was one of the best audiobooks I’ve used for learning Spanish. It’s packed full of vocabulary words that are very relevant in daily communication if you work in technology.

The example sentences and conversations are extremely relevant. I typically find that a lot of Spanish language books create fake sounding conversations this was not the case here.

I’ve been learning Spanish for years but have felt lost for words so many times when trying to communicate about software and computers. I work at a technology company and found this book essential to have more fluency when describing how to use our software.

Very useful

Excellent modern vocabulary. If you are used to Castilian Spanish, you will have to make allowances for the Latin American accent and possibly some different verb forms, but overall I am very pleased with this.
