This course traces bourbon's entire history, from the 1700s, with Irish, Scottish, and French settlers setting up stills and making distilled spirits in the New World, through today's booming resurgence.

We live in a world of seeds. From our morning toast to the cotton in our clothes, they are quite literally the stuff and staff of life, supporting diets, economies, and civilizations around the globe. Just as the search for nutmeg and the humble peppercorn drove the Age of Discovery, so did coffee beans help fuel the Enlightenment and cottonseed help spark the Industrial Revolution. And from the fall of Rome to the Arab Spring, the fate of nations continues to hinge on the seeds of a Middle Eastern grass known as wheat.

not really as specific as the title implies
the majority of this book is pretty broad dog rearing info, which isn't a problem. The title just makes it sound like it will be more breed specific than it actually is.
The parts that are specific to Ausies are peppered in where appropriate, but I just wish there were more of them.
Several of the chapters are repetitive in a way that just made me slip over them because the info had already been covered.

Bad Copy/Paste Job, Bad Performance
What was most disappointing about Vince Stead’s story?
This was a bad copy/paste job, apparently from a book about German Shepherds. MAybe the author didn't know that word processors have a "find/replace" function. Several times in the book the narrator says "German Shepherd" instead of "Australian Shepherd". You can also find all information on this topic on the internet - no need to waste your money on this book. Terribly written overall. Super disappointed.
