Learn French

Are you looking for the best way to learn French? Well, look no further. This audiobook is, simply put, the best on the market for learning French. Why do I say that? Because this audiobook does what language audiobooks should do - teaches you the mechanics of the language, not a bunch of tourist trap phrases that you'll forget the second you leave the country.

If audiobooks don't do that, then they make the critical mistake of going into far too much detail and managing to bore you half to death by virtue of the fact that they've spent 30 pages going on about three different kinds of articles. I don't do that either.

What this audiobook does do, and does very well in fact, is set you up with the knowledge that you want and need of French in a very short time frame - so that you can blast through this audiobook and already feel like you're set up for success.

This audiobook isn't a reference, nor is it a crash course on the French language; it's both. You'll listen through this audiobook and understand. Then you'll apply what you've learned (and inevitably look back at this audiobook down the line to rehash your memory), and you'll grow even more as a French speaker.

Don't waste your time and money on a subpar French audiobook. Go with the best from the get-go.

Cut off words

First I’ll say I love the way he teaches French. But when the recording was done or when it was produced many of the words or cut off as if there is a bad connection. It would be like trying to read a printed book that someone had taken a meat cleaver and chopped off 1/16 of the page on one side. You can still muddle through it. But when some of the French words are cut short it makes it very difficult to make since of it. Fortunately the words are repeated so I’m able to get through it. I just can’t believe it was released in this state. If it’s just my cope I sure would like a replacement

Best way to learn a language

I have tried many methods of learning a new language and this is by far the best audio way. I was speaking and understanding some basic French in a week!

Feeling confident!

I immediately started feeling confident and understanding of the French language and gained confident to speak and say common things that I say about everyday. I used Rosetta Stone and got somethings from it, and tried a Doulingo which I also got something from but nothing as quick and confident as this.

The conversational book is a great addition

The conversational book is a great addition to the other forms of learning French. I miss so many of the "smaller" words, especially prepositions and pronouns, and that's made so much clearer when you just listen one conversation, then play a role.

Great lesson

Great lesson. I saw nothing of the negative items a few user's spoke of. This program is probably better suited for someone with somewhat of an established French vocabulary but not quite intermediate.

Teach basic conversation

Teach the needed vocabulary for basic conversation in French in a short period of time. I have studied Spanish in multiple formats including Rosetta Stone, Barron’s, and even taking college classes. I wish I would have started Spanish the way I am starting French. I highly recommend this way of learning how to speak the language.

So easy and perfect!

So grateful for finding these books. I can't wait to start the 2nd in the French series. I am constantly doing long drives and have taken up learning French to make use of my time spent in the car. This teaching style is so effective, I'm so excited!

I took French in school and couldn't say anything. But with this this audio book I was able to catch on quick and with a little practice, was able to have a basic conversation!

Awesome method, by far the best!

I've tried so many French learning books on Audible, and so many just don't understand how language works. They'll just list French words. I could've just googled that! This method however, is just awesome! It teaches you how to put words and phrases together, and how to apply French conversationally. It also gives some great cultural context. I think this is especially great for those who have already taken some French but have trouble putting it all together conversationally.
