Going native in the apocalypse
I was hoping for a bit more action and personality, ala Snake Pliskin in Escape From New York, but this was more of a fable in the apocalypse. We follow Cheung on a mission for The Man to recover a horse in the Pennsylvanian wasteland. There’s some backstory for Cheung and a little bit of color for the folks he runs into out in the new wilds. However, there could have been more dialogue, action or interesting quirks to make this standout. As written, this was a rather plain novella of what happens when the world goes to pot.
