ONLY BUY IF YOU HEAD A HUGE COMPANY

I got this to give me advice on how to manage, organize, and run my small scale manufacturing company. However this book is nothing but full of fancy acronyms that translate to complicated terms which ultimately could have been said in half the syllables. This book is for COO’s who want to use big words and confuse their peers. It talks about software development, firing people to reduce waste, hiring consultants to run constant analytics on each side of the product, and uses the word LEAN once every 5 words. Might’ve been decent but doesn’t apply to my scale whatsoever.

Definitely worth buying

This book is a startup phenomenon and has almost become required reading for any startup founders. That being said, it is most useful for software startups and is significantly less useful for biotech and other life science startups.

A good summary to save time

This is not my only book about Lean Six Sigma but I wanted to keep it besides the other because it has teachings the others lack of. The most basic tools and techniques are often the most powerful. Lean sis sigma shows that making process improvements don’t have to be complicated.

easy to understand

According to the book, when lean six sigma is legitimately connected on any business it bolsters the business to remain gainful while in the meantime the group is responding to each client's consistently evolving needs.

very helpful

The much known and effective organization utilizes Lean Six Sigma and I believe it's time for me and my organization to try and welcome it since our underlying systems doesn't fill in as guaranteed.

Brief, dry bulletpointed summary

You won't learn anything new nor useful from this book. it's just a dry description of each method. Something you would expect a first year graduate to write as a base knowledge for further research.
