Leading While Being Led: Lessons From a Senior Enlisted Advisor, comprises tips and tricks I have learned through my military career that have made me successful at varying levels of leadership and within advisory positions. It consists of bite-size topics that explain issues common to leadership and business operations.
Examples from my career are provided to provide context and a plan of action is given for each topic, advising the reader on applying these principles to their life. It intends to provide you with tools and a quick reference guide when you need help knowing what the correct answer is.

Outstanding perspective on leading people.
This is a great book for those in any leadership role. It’s super easy to read and digest. The author does a great job breaking down the basics of leadership. Many books on this subject get bogged down in philosophical concepts and leave you bored out of your mind. Sweeney keeps it real. No Bs. You can tell he has a talent for working with people. I got a lot out of this book. Highly recommended.
