A book worth studying!!!!!

Great book, is very clear and direct to the point, sometimes goes to deap into de church and religión, but is basically to demonstrate a point, I really like it.I felt God nudging me to learn how to become a better leader so I searched Amazon and found this one. I read the key leadership qualities Maxwell list and had none of them. Great to have in your leadership library or as a stocking stuffer....give to coworkers, team members or for young and older leaders.

Fantastic book!!!!

The book provides applicable examples of how influence between people, organizations and government shape our abilities. This was assigned reading for a class in my master's program. I am used to boring, long-winded, heavily cited texts for my classes. This was a book used in my first grad class and it was fantastic. Not boring at all, real life examples, and super informational.

We need more conscious leaders in the world in every industry.I was reluctant to read what I thought was a corporate business only oriented book but a good friend recommended this book so I got it.

Wherever I implement the practice of creating and working in triadic teams whose members work towards accomplishing a noble cause together, everything changes for the better. Great leadership book! This is the second book in the Clinical Mind Leadership Development Series and I really enjoyed the first book as well. There is a lot of focus on teamwork and leading by example, which I have found to be really important. This summary provided new and supported distribution beliefs I garnered over time. This was a fantastic read, especially helpful for new managers. The perspective of surrounding yourself with super star individuals and creating cohesive teams is wonderful.

A Book For All Leaders At All Levels!!!

This book constitutes a great summary of fundamental administrative and leadership concepts that anybody working in an organization should know in order to properly steer behaviors, department and organizations to achieve their objectives..definetly recommend this book to anyone interested in corporate strategy, whether in a small or large business. This book was a very intersting and easy read. The story is one that I know I'll remember and thus makes it so much more effective than just a theoretical framework on strategy.

I really enjoyed this ultimate management book!!!!

When I first started reading this book, I thought it was going to be just another leadership and business management textbook. But the book evolves into something more as you read through the pages. In fact, Leadership Framed by Art creates a new relationship between modern art and business leadership. Rather, the modern art can become a hugely inspiring actor to develop modern day leaders. The book is a must read for all aspiring leaders, existing leaders, and people working in the professional environment.

Great book for leadership.

Simplifying the change process, while not trivializing its complexities, Kotter explains the sequence required to inspire a need for, direct and entrench organizational development from the archaic bureaucracy to the streamlined, empowered workplace required for the twenty-first century. I bought this on recommendation, and this book deserves its reputation. Instead of getting down into this or that methodology for how to implement organizational change, it focuses on key areas of concerns and the difference between managing and leading change. It's already impacted projects I'm working on and has created a jolt in how we approach things

exellent book.

Good book for anyone interested in self assessment and in different leadership theories. Had to this text book as the assigned for my Ph.D leadership course. The book is written well and is easy to follow. Also like the hands on and case studies parts the best. The author presents the material in a way that is easy to apply the theory. Best leadership text book I have use. I'm using this for a leadership college course, and I actually like it. I'm not a big reader, especially of textbooks, but this is broken down in an easy to digest manner. There's good free resources online as well through the publisher. Each chapter has a little skill assessment at the end that you can take to see how you measure up to that specific leadership style, so you could know what to improve on if that's a style you wanted to use.

Great research.

This book is original in that it focuses on the leadership aspects of each president while also comparing their similarities and differences verses just telling each of their stories individually. The key take away is that leadership is something you grow into not born with, each of these role models grew into their leadership roles through adversity and with intestinal fortitude. This book is profoundly important in contemplating the healing of our nation that must follow the tearing asunder by our current President.

!Good introduction to leadership!!

I used this book in Advanced Leadership for my PhD. It is an excellent resource. It covers leadership theory and practice very well. The primary references alone are worth the price of the book. Bought this book for a grad level college course and will be keeping for reference. The questions asked in the Case Studies were answerable if you read the chapter and were diligent at applying the principles. This probably had the most impact in my great experience with this text.

Leaders are everywhere.

Almost every paragraph in this book had me underline something. This was required for a course I took and I will read it again! So good!! The concepts in here are useful not just for the workplace, but for all of life. Very well communicated and they give good points of view from experienced people who have put these principles into practice. I have loved this book since its inception. This book is your roadmap to both personal and organizational leadership. One of the best aspects of this book, is that the stories are based on everyday people doing extraordinary things

powerful advice.

If you love books about how to be an even better leader, and you appreciate authors who go deep to be clear, and also stay relevant and concise, then you'll love this book as much as I do. I own three editions of The Leadership Challenge. The Leadership Challenge by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner is a true classic. It's been validated by case studies, assessments and leaders around the world. It is cited in most major studies of leadership. It is both simple and complex, revealing layers of depth for dedicated students and practitioners of leadership. the best book.

Nice book for leadership

I'm in a position where I'd like to step up and be more of a leader. Excellent guide to the different leadership styles to effective manage your team and employees. Being in the sales industry, I'm aware of the importance of having a leader or manager that understands the various types of management practices to best get the most productive performance. I personally like the 'hands off' approach, but each situation and individual will be different and respond & be motivated byvarious leadership methods.

Excellent Book!

My favorite book so far! In fact I am stating it over right now! The info and concepts in this book have the power to change your life. I know it has already had an impact on my life and that is why I am re-reading it so that I can pick up on things that I missed the first time. Got this from a boss's recommendation. This book has very basic concepts that, if you are receptive to them, will change your life. They will help you get buy-in, cooperation, and positive responses from your workers, your supervisors, peers, friends, loved ones, or family in anything in life.

A must have in your readilyaccessible book section

The 'leadership' is often from the top down in an organization, in order to stimulate the greatest growth. However, individual growth can have the 'rising up' effect! This book accentuates the former situation and can be used in any profession or business where there are people present! This series of books produced by the Studer Group are some of the very best business books I have ever read. If you're involved in business administration or are considering an administrative position do yourself a favor and read these books.

Great way to become a better you!!!

A lot of leadership books are good ideas stretched into a long book that I never get around to finishing. This book is perfect for getting to the point and giving a lesson that is worthy of reflection. I think the reflection is where the real learning develops in general.Great read, the author points out strategy and tactics that are useful for any business and does it in real world examples.it really has a great message and if you are open minded you'll be able to get a lot out of it!
