Story
Have you ever asked yourself why some people are more successful than others? What is it that makes them leaders that stand out in the crowd? Their work ethic and personality could be contributing factors, but that is only one part of the story. The rest of the story is one that only emotional intelligence can tell. We are emotional. Sometimes, we respond based on those emotions. We even make decisions based on those emotions. Whether it turns out to be a good thing or not depends entirely on the way we learn how to control these emotions.

Story
Leadership is a term that people perceive very differently. Most think of CEOs, managers, and coaches and while that is of course true, it is much more than that. A leader is a person who goes in front of new projects, ideas or trends, and who can direct others towards a common goal. It doesn’t even have to be on a big scale. Remember that teacher who sparked your interest in mathematics or literature? Or your father who motivated you to do your homework when it was difficult? Leaders can be found everywhere in society, and you don’t need a big title to become one.

Publisher's Summary
There are various key attributes that are essential for anyone who wants to be a super leader. This book outlines these traits; fortunately, if you do not already possess them, you will be able to acquire them through self-discipline and dedication.
How do you teach leadership? You could take a class, buy several opinionated books by authors who’ve "been there", or participate in leadership seminars, workshops, or programs sponsored by your company - if they are available. These cost too much, and in the end, the principles of leadership are the same ones taught decades ago. This book is all you need to learn the key principles of leadership and for pennies on the dollar compared to what’s out there. In this book, you’ll learn the theories and principles of motivation, decision-making, influencing others, leading a team, and building your network for success.
Many people look for ways to move from being passive followers to strong leaders. They may have a lot of ideas in their head, much of which might be vague and untested.
This book introduces you to the art of leadership through the development of management skills, social skills, and communication skills; three skills which comprise practically all of the skills needed to forge a leader from a follower. The skills described are based on experience and practical wisdom on the subject. The content is clear and easy to read, and at the same time, demonstrates a profound knowledge of the subject of leadership and the skills that go into its making.
If you listen to this book today, you will no longer have to imagine this things, you could be living them.
Your life change starts now! Stop thinking that you can’t, know that you can! Take action, and buy this book!

Great team training/self improvement!!!!
Most leadership books I've found to have nothing useful and are just common knowledge, taken from other writers, seem like the writer has never actually led or managed anyone, or are just complete idiot bunk trying to make the work force a happy place where nothing seems to get done anymore as we're supposed to be everyone's friend. This book is great! It gets you motivated and keeps you busy. It not only gives great advise and strategies but also great motivational stories.

A Top Book on Leadership
He is extremely practical and straight forward and skips most of the theoretical ideals that only exist in perfect worlds. He breaks down leadership into 8 different elements and works with the nuts and bolts of each characteristic to help the leader determine who he is, what his vision is, how to accomplish it, and what God may be calling him to. Great book!
