Publisher's summary

Excellent Narration

The narration of Le tour du monde en 80 jours by Alain Couchot is excellent. Other reviews that mention poor English pronunciation are exaggerated. The book is in French after all. I highly recommend it.

Delightful

Wonderful character representations; you feel like there are different readers for each person. Brilliantly expressive. The characters and story come alive.

It’s remarkable that there are complaints about the pronunciation of English words. I’m sure that’s just how Jules himself would have pronounced them!

Stage d'anglais recommandé

Le narrateur à grandement besoin de cours d'anglais, la prononciation des termes anglais laissait à désirer...!

Fantastic book ! But extremely poor English pronunciation of the words

The story is amazingly written and highly captivating!
But the story teller speak a terrible English... Maybe he should do the tour of the world !

fantastic performance

The reader, in tone,.expression, timing captures emotion and adds tremndously to the story. Far better than the movie. Even better than the vook.

Une belle aventure

Je me replonge dans les classiques de mon enfance. Quelle histoire passionnante. Le lecteur est bon mais la narration parfois un peu monocorde. Néanmoins une recommandation.
