Le Roman du Renard (à l'origine "Le Roman de Renart") est l'adaptation pour enfants d'un ensemble médiéval de récits animaliers écrits en ancien français et en vers.

Les héros en sont Renart ou Goupil (le renard) et Ysengrin (le loup), en qui se personnifient la ruse et la force.
