Publisher's Summary

No real science here, but you might like this if you haven’t yet read Anthony Doerr’s Cloud Cuckoo Land, which is a literary feat and takes the fundamental premise 100 times further. Works well, at 0.9x, as practice for this bilingual American who hasn’t been back to France in decades.
