perfect

emma slate has become my favorite contemporary author. she does a perfect blend of tension with out making you feel like you have to constantly suspend disbelief. Salems story was a perfect book 2. getting to see her grow and become who she wanted. I cant wait for more of this series and more of her writing.

wonderful love story

troy duran could read anything and it would be delightful. loved how this book brought in parts from book 1. nothing deep or complicated in the plot but just a great love story. you won't be disappointed.

Narrators were wonderful.

The story was good but… what turned me off was the fact that the Dad Connor’s new girlfriend is more his daughter’s age. And that hits a nerve with me.

Disliked this book for how the FMC was treated by her family

I loved the first story but really disliked Hadley in this book. The way her family and friends treated the Salem, the FMC, was awful and she was constantly compared to her sister and found wanting. I would have a huge complex too if my family treated me the way her family treats her. It ruined this book for me which is unfortunate because I thought the first book in the series was good.
