"Tom" Perry tells the many histories of the place he saved the Laurel Hill Farm, Birthplace of Civil War General James Ewell Brown "Jeb" Stuart in their hometown of Ararat, Patrick County, Virginia. This is Volume One of a proposed series. Proceeds from this book are donated to the preservation efforts of the J. E. B. Stuart Birthplace Preservation Trust, Inc. a 501c3 non-profit that owns the 75 acres of the Laurel Hill Farm.
