Publisher's summary

Do you try not to be late, but it just keeps happening?

You are not alone - one in five people struggle to be on time, and would love to change their lateness habit. Until now it’s been a lonely battle, but in this trailblazing audiobook Grace Pacie, a lifelong self-confessed "Timebender", reveals the surprising truth about why we are late - it’s not a personal failing, we are hard-wired that way. She explains not only when and why we are late, but also when and why we can be early; what is going on in our brains; and what we can do to fix it.

Based on a potent fusion of psychology, self-help, and 10 years of researching fellow sufferers, this audiobook shows us how we can make sure we arrive on time. Written with a light touch, and oodles of humour, Grace dissects our singular approach to time, and in a joyful reversal of conventional wisdom, also shows us the positive side of our timebending tendencies.

Includes 20 tried and tested tips to get you there on time!

Powerful. Useful. Funny. Humbling.

Easily one of the most instantly useful books I’ve read. Twice through. Just the term… Time Bender… opens doors and possibilities.

Great book, great audio

A much needed topic with encouragement for improvement as well as understanding. Love the audio as well - great voice and occasional sound effects.

Not just tips, but the why

I was hoping, when the book started to go through how I can blame genetics as well as other “not my fault” things, a tips n tricks section would be coming - and it definitely did. I found myself shaking my head in agreement for nearly the entire book but certainly the first half hour. I don’t feel alone in having difficulty being on time anymore and now I know why and have been gifted with some ways to at least be ok with doing the best I can, which I know will be better than it’s been before, after “reading” this book. Thank you for bending your time to get it completed for us all!

Spot on! finally someone helped me to understan what I was dealing with all my life

I've listened to this book twice already and planning to re-litening many more times. I've read many books and this is the only book that get to the bottom of this "phenomenon". It was like talking to a very close friend who knows you so so well and doesn't judge. It gave me a hope that I can take control over my life. Remote work and flexible schedule for a last few years made me to experience the extend of how bad it can get if I let my timebending nature run my life. I thought I am going down the hill and have no idea how to stop. Now I even listen to this book when getting ready and it helps me to stay grounded and in touch with myself. The voice is also very pleasant and calming. Thank you so much!

A must read for us late people!!

I wasn't sure I was going to like it at first because of the accent but I pushed through the 1st 10 mins and it grew on me. I enjoyed this book very much. It's very informative w a little humor. I understand alot more than I did before I read it. I found serval things in it I will try in my life of tardiness... I hope it works or at least helps. I'm going to re listen to a few chapters and for sure the workbook part it can only help! Im so glad someone did the research and wrote a book on this subjet. It was much need for us "time benders" I will use this phrase from now on. You won't be disappointed, give it a listen/read.

Fantastic

It took me years to find a book like this. What an incredible insight into my life and my habits. It’s almost scary how accurate this book is! It made me realize how my mind works, and now I can recognize the behavior, with hopefully results to change. Thanks so much for writing this book. It will help many people.

Something that worked for me

I found this book to be insightful about how I think when I am late. One thing that I am doing now is I am rewarding myself by arriving on time to an event so that I am more motivated. Great book. Highly recommend for those who also not late and want to understand this type of thought process.
