Publisher's Summary

Stuck in medieval England with no cell service....

Christian Thornton keeps losing his betrothed. The ladies have heard a terrible rumor and flee, so the last thing he needs is a vexing future girl showing up at Winterforth.

Ashley is high-strung, stressed out, and lost without her ever-present phone. The thought of being disconnected makes her break out in hives. For someone who always needs to know what time it is, waking up in medieval England just won’t do.

Narration

Great story but narration was bad. Better to just read then try to use the accents.

Book could have been good, horrible narrator

I couldn't even get through this book. It could have been a very good story if I was reading it. However, I was listening to it. This was the first time I ever listened to a book and couldn't stand the narrator. She was very monotone. Her voice irritated me within the first few minutes. I tried again several times and tried to just get into the story. Nope couldn't even enjoy the storyline.

Last night

The story was fine and flowed well… but I did not like the narrator at all…. Implied accents where horrible, and so were the supposed male voices

Another bust due to narration

I hope it was a good story but I couldn’t get through it. Loss of about twenty five dollars for books 6 and 7 since I paid for them versus using credits.

terrible narrator

Struggle to listen to Pam (narrator), who sounds like a computer and reads with little to no pause between sentences or characters. Extremely hard but I can't get a refund,so I am struck listening to her.

disappointed

I was glad to see another Thornton brothers book and eventually see the Merriweather sisters again..The story had a predictable happy ending which I prefer with some dramatic adventures scattered through the story. however the narrator ruined it with her stilted fake accents. she enunciated very well but that is the only positive attribute. please find her another occupation!
