Publisher's summary

Danny Neumann is a boring 16-year-old who's crushing on his best friend, Becky, and lamenting the defection of his good friend, Kevin, when a man in black arrives at his birthday party and tries to kill him. Fear never has a chance as suddenly bursts of pure energy erupt from Danny's hands and knock the man in black on his ass-ets! But more surprises are in store for Danny as he learns he's adopted, his real parents were the last demigods left, and he's the first offspring of two demigods. Though no one knows what Danny is capable of, they are sure of one thing - he's the only one who can save Earth from the man in black and his army of monsters!

Last Hero is one of the most exciting audiobooks of the year! Poised to be a runaway best seller, this is the first in a series and makes Clash of the Titans look like a Sunday-afternoon picnic. Get your copy today, and enjoy the listen of a lifetime!

very good

Great young adult novel. The author and the narrator really made you feel thus was taking place in Highschool. I think this is a good book for anyone. Can't wait for more from this author.

Waste of time

I purchased this book by mistake but decided to listen to it since it was in my library. Other than the fact than I really enjoy listening to Joel Leslie, there was not one redeeming factor in this book that I can point out. Save your credit.

Good narrator but...

Persy Jackson only written less well... Fragments of good ideas that never matured... Utter disappointment. Not worth the credit or the 12$
