Earthquakes, wars, birds falling dead from the sky . . . the Last Days begin in a world on the brink of chaos.
The timely discovery of mysterious clay pots containing prophetic verses detailing the world's end are unearthed the same day by four youths thousands of miles apart. This finding unleashes a relentless series of apocalyptic events bringing those verses to life—and then the dreams begin.
What’s happening? And why is everyone trying to keep it quiet? Nico, a boy on Patmos Island, must figure this out before four strangers appear claiming they’ve all dreamed about him every night—and the Cave of the Apocalypse where John received the Revelation from God. Ominous trumpet sounds come from the cave, as Nico discovers three mysterious cracks etched into the wall—and Nico’s family is keeping secrets.
They must race to figure out what they are supposed to do before the seventh trumpet sounds.
The clay pots are the key.
The narration is really well done, it feels natural, the pacing is just right, and the emotional moments actually land instead of feeling overdone. There were several times I told myself I’d stop after one more chapter… and then didn’t.
What I appreciated most is how the story is action-driven and set in a believable world that blends faith, end-times themes, and very human struggles. It doesn’t feel preachy but draws you in; it feels like a story about real people trying to do the right thing in terrifying circumstances. Some scenes stuck with me long after I finished listening.
This is the kind of audiobook that makes long drives fly by and keeps you thinking about it afterward. If you like faith-based fiction, biblical prophecy, or intense, character-driven stories, this one is absolutely worth your time.
I’d definitely listen to more from this author.
Couldn't stop listening, hooked from the start
