Thoroughly enjoyed being absorbed into the world of the Compass Rose! Fantastic descriptive detail makes reading the book a literary feast!

Shocking

So many suspects. There are many clues throughout the book, if you pay attention. Really enjoyed the twists and turns.

Conclusion of story

I was enjoying the story up till the end, it was unsatisfactory and disappointing. No real conclusion to the story line.

Last Day

Intense but not suspenseful. Well written but relentless. I had a difficult
time developing any rapor with any of the characters.

Great listen

Kept me guessing until the end who done it. Very good narrator who brought life to the story

More of a drama fiction

This book is a drama fiction that happen around a murder case. I like the narrator but not quite like the way the author told the story. I might give 1 more star if the story shorten to 10 hours.

Performance

I really disliked the overuse of _____said. If you have half a brain and listened to the story, you would probably know who was speaking.

Good Thriller

I enjoyed listening to this. The author really brings the characters to life, I could picture them. The person performing the story served it well. A good thriller about family, friendship, love, loss, betrayal, life, and death.

Kept waiting for more...

I could tell about half way through who the culprit was, but kept listening hoping I was wrong. It didn’t make sense; the crime did not seem to fit the capability of the perpetrator and relationships seemed to appear from nowhere. Such potential, but I was not impressed.
