Short but sweet

Good story with great characters. Not long but very enjoyable...good narrator. Would like to hear more about this couple.

Great story, narration needs work

The narrator has a lovely, resonant voice and very clear diction - perfect for voice work. However, his rhythm and word emphasis is strange and I just can't get into the story, even though I have already read it. It's a favourite and is the reason I bought the audible book.
Another problem is that the narrator makes no effort to make up voices to match different characters. I found I really had to concentrate to identify which character was speaking. It made for a less than relaxing listen.
With some practice I'm sure the narrator will get much better, he's just not there yet.
