From medieval mail worn by warriors on English battlefields, to 19th-century glass marbles, Maiklem deduces the historical significance of these artifacts with quirky enthusiasm and sharp-sightedness.
In this interview Lara tells us how she finds out the stories behind her found objects, how she feels about mudlarking with others, and where her interest in history first began.
