Critic Reviews

"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." (AudioFile magazine)

This book contains 5 lessons approx 30 min. U do one lesson a day as recommended. U listen to a conversation, then that conversation is broken in parts with a translation. U will then be asked to repeat phrases, and then at a certain point the program will prompt u to ask u to answer questions, following which they give u an answer. I found it a good way to learn.

I started this course last year, then do to other commitments took a break recently I soldiered through the entire course completing 30 min as recommended. It helped me tremendously, and the satisfaction of completing the course was great. This is a great way to start and create a foundation to learn urdu. We hope that Pimsleur will create an advanced urdu course as well.
