A good book for learning Spanish

What made the experience of listening to Spanish Short Stories for Beginners the most enjoyable?

I came from a country where English is not my native tongue. Our dialect has very much similarity with the Spanish language but we were not taught of it in school as its not a priority in the curriculum. Personally speaking, I always have the interest in writing and speaking in Spanish and this book provides a very good format where stories are being used to teach the language. As I read and listen through the stories, the definition and translation of words as well as the exercises between each story, helps a lot in validating what I read and heard for each of the chapter. Although the stories becomes more complicated as it progresses due to the use of more complicated words, the audiobook helps a lot in easily pacing through the story and learning the appropriate pronunciation and definition of the words until you understand what the story is about. Overall, this is a good book to use as an introduction to the Spanish language and I would really recommend it to people who wishes to learn the basics especially to those who have not much exposure to it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Spanish Short Stories for Beginners?

As I am a beginner, the most enjoyable part is when the key words are being repeated so that I can learned the words better (in terms of pronouncing them). I also like the exercises as it provides a means to review after the story.

I've studied Spanish during one semester, and I found this audiobook a practical way to enhance my vocabulary and review some of the things I've already learned. The PDF version was also really helpful. I especially recommend it for someone who wants to have a general idea of the language.

This book is perfect for anyone in the beginning stages of learning Spanish. I really enjoyed listening to the stories.This audio book helps me to be able to pronounce certain words and notice the differences in conjugations used properly in order to comprehend the language better. Extremely helpful book for beginners!!

Its been 15 years since I took Spanish in high school and to say I'm rusty would be an understatement. I picked this book up looking forward to learning from a different medium than traditional software based learning. I really liked this book because it gave you both the English and Spanish pronunciation for many of the more complex words. The drills helped to enhance my overall recall ability for verbs and I feel more comfortable with my conversational abilities. The stories are very relatable to everyday life and I think this helps a beginning speaker become more conversational in a new language. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone seeking extra practice speaking and listening to Spanish.

Excellent audio book for learners of all levels

I am someone who knows very many Spanish words on paper, but in the past I’ve had trouble tying everything together in speech. I found this particular audio book to be very helpful in my learning process, allowing me to tie it all together. It was very easy to follow and kept me engaged through each of the chapters. The speed and tone of the readers voice over was perfect, as it allowed me to follow along in real speed speaking voice, as opposed to it being too slow or too fast to follow. Certainly a great recommended product for learning and improving upon your understanding of the Spanish language.

Great instruction book

What made the experience of listening to Spanish Short Stories for Beginners the most enjoyable?

I really found this book instructive. Sometimes I get hung up on the proper spelling of Spanish words, and I lose sight of their pronunciation. So it is good to be able to hear how the words sound. Also the person reading did a good job. Their voice was clear and easy to follow. I enjoyed the different situations presented and explained.

An effective and comprehensive guide to learning Spanish

This formula for learning accurate Spanish conjugation is effective and engaging. Most of the sections take you through everyday scenarios, and there is also sections for vocabulary acquisition. I recommend this to anyone struggling with this languages reflexes.

Fantastic book

This book is incredible, I have always taken Spanish throughout school but I never really enjoyed it or wanted to pursue it. Now after listening to this book, I know a lot more about Spanish and I'm excited to learn more. It teaches in a way that is easy to understand and fun

Great Way to Start Learning Spanish

As a person who is just "quite" familiar with the Spanish language and with no formal schooling taken - this book helped me in remembering the basic Spanish words and improved my knowledge on how to use them. I like how it reads the short stories and pronounces the words clearly and slowly in a way that I can listen to it carefully and repeat/follow the words he is saying. The female part helps me to learn basic Spanish words. I like that the words are repeated and there is a pause after every word so that the listeners can follow what she is saying.

I love how this audiobook progresses from slow to normal so as the listeners will be able to adjust their skills in listening Spanish stories and words.

This book best fits people who are either (1) a newbie in the language and needs practice in learning the basic word definition, pronunciation and application; or (2) people who has basic knowledge of Spanish and needs a refresher.

I can listen to this audiobook many times without even getting bored!
