A very painless way to learn a new language!

Having worked through the Pimsleur Spanish series over the past few months, I found it a very easy, painless way to learn Spanish in what was effectively a subliminal manner with minimal effort.

Each day, I would walk the dogs for half an hour listening to the Spanish course, not needing to refer to any other material or read any supporting material, and at the end of the course, I feel confident that I can get by in Spanish at a basic conversational level - certainly more than I would need to use for travelling to Spanish speaking countries.

I found it so easy, I rather miss having the course to listen to on my walks, so have now commenced German and Italian also.

In the course of two half hour dog walks a day, that equates to painlessly getting to grips with 2 new languages every three months - what a nice new interest that becomes, and an added interest when walking the dogs.

I would certainly recommending trying them.
