Review

I give this approach to learning Spanish 5 stars. It was clear, concise teaching that enabled me to quickly pick up words and phrases within the first two lessons that will transcend into my work environment. The teacher was really good, with perfect timing and inflection. I look forward to continuing this method of learning. Thank you.

FANTASTIC AUDIO BOOK, LOVE THE NARRATION!

What did you love best about Learn Spanish in a Week?

I love how clear the narration is. With other Spanish audio books, I felt it was sometimes difficult to truly understand the pronunciation. But with "Learn Spanish in a Week", the voice was very clear, kind and friendly. Makes me want to learn!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Learn Spanish in a Week?

We all laughed when we tried to "roll our Rs" as well as the narrator! I like that as you pick up more and more words, you see and hear them all around you when you are out and about. Nice reinforcement!

Have you listened to any of Claudia R. Barrett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. And just like her other performances, she is fantastic. My kids love listening and learning from her, too!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, but unfortunately I do not have the time to do so. But we made it a family event so we all got into it!

Not bad, but....

There are several Spanish learning books on audible including this one, but each one is followed differently. this one, for example, takes off easy enough for you to follow and then it leaves you behind. Although it's supposed to be for beginners, it's best if you're familiar with the language.

The speaker's accent isn't overpowering and speaks very clear. That's a good thing! The length of the book isn't that long, but if you're into learning in your sleep, this book is great to let it play into your subconscious...because unless you plan to pause your device over and over again to learn a word, your in for a ride awakening.

This works as a book to read but not to liste

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

She keeps talking about videos to watch but when she reads out the name of website is hard to understand. Similarly, refers to tables below, but there is no place you can see these.

What was most disappointing about Christina Torres’s story?

References, so confusing as there is no ebook attached

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Claudia R. Barrett?

Someone maybe with better English accent. I don't know this is tricky. But I would like written reference materials.
