More than 50% is advertisement

Any additional comments?

The lessons are roughly 15 to 17 minutes, out of which about 10 minutes (clocked) are advertisement and repeated instructions. The couple of lessons I heard were free, but had I payed money for them, and then found myself serviced with a meager 5 to 7 minute lesson, I would have been very upset.

language!

Would you try another book from Innovative Language Learning and/or Virginie Maries?

Not was to like as it was short and there really is NO language lesson here to learn.
It was just an introduction to the language and really serves no purpose to learning anything!
No, not really!

What was most disappointing about Innovative Language Learning’s story?

That it has really nothing to do with learning anything!

How could the performance have been better?

There could have been more substance to it. Like it could break it down so one could learn the words to the language being taught.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Learn French with Innovative Language's Proven Language System - Level 1: Introduction to French?

Everything and would start over!

Strange; mostly an ad

For something designed to entice the listener to purchase the paid lessons, this was surprisingly off putting. It was almost all an advertisement with a not particularly engaging lesson at the end.

YAWN! 2/3rds of the time = Advert

I know this is free, but really, this was a very long and tedious advert. The actual example lesson started at 10 min 49 seconds. Methodology seems sound, but the various chiming sounds between sections would drive me to distraction. I suspect will be deleting this one from my library.

Too short

This was a fine introduction but way too short to be worth any money. Sad

Well explained, but a bit rushed

It seemed to me that chapter 1 was exceedingly long & then I got confused by chapter 3 in particular. The "pauses" were so short, I almost missed them & wasn't sure which words they wanted me to repeat exactly. I think if I slowed it down some, that might help but I don't want to affect the "normal" rate of speech. I did already know all of these phrases though so it wasn't a huge problem.
The only other *tiny* problem I had (I likely mostly my own problem) but I had a little trouble understanding the Chapter 1 narrator.

The instructors make learning easy.

I am preparing for my 1st trip to Paris in less than 2 weeks. I am confident that I will be able to grasp basic French to help order the delicious cuisine awaiting me (important) and get through the city.

Advert

Just an advert for a French course. Annoying when you have to down load a lot of data to listen to self promotion.

Absolute Excellance

I am so pleased to have found these Learn French. So easy to follow & review as you go along with each word & phrase.

The narrators speak clearly & slowly enough for the words & sentences to sink in. No fuss or prattle.

You also get the PDF file to follow & simplifies learning . This is good for those who learn better by seeing the words in front of you. This is helps you to learn to read the French language as well as speak French. The PDF is clear & precise & easy to follow.

Went by in a flash. Strewth if I'd known such bonza, bona fide Frenchies would be teaching it I'd a signed up ages ago. The French Sheila sounds like a good sort too, not stuck up but wouldn't embarrass you at a work do either. Thanks fellas.
