Publisher's summary

2 Books in 1! Learn 2 Languages with 1 book!

Are you looking for the best way to learn French? Well, look no further. This book is, simply put, the best on the market for learning French. Why do I say that? Because this book does what language books should do - teach you the mechanics of the language, not a bunch of tourist trap phrases that you'll forget the second you leave the country.

If books don't do that, then they make the critical mistake of going into far too much detail and managing to bore you half to death by virtue of the fact that they've spent so much time going on about three different kinds of articles. I don't do that either.

Book 2

Learn Spanish: A Fast and Easy Guide for Beginners to Learn Conversational Spanish

Let's face it: the language market is changing. English has been the lingua franca for a while now, but it's not going to always be that way. It's projected that Chinese or Spanish might take over the English language as the lingua franca in the next century. So it makes sense that you're searching this book: Spanish is an in-demand language to know. By knowing Spanish, you're opening the door to communication with hundreds of millions of more people than you could speak with before. This makes you a desirable asset to a great number of companies and makes you an all around more well-rounded person.

I'm not certain why you picked this book up. It could be general curiosity about Spanish, or you may be going on a trip and needing a crash course in Spanish before you do. Regardless of what your intent is, the key fact is that you're looking for the best possible way to learn Spanish while getting the best bang for your buck, too. This book is everything you're looking for.

This book may be short, but it absolutely does not skimp on the important topics. By the end of the book, you'll be understanding of many of the core concepts of basic conversational Spanish.

Focused in on the most common phrases

"I loved that it was focused in on the most common phrases, and teaching them in the context of sentences! If you'd prefer to sit down with a book to read and learn vocabulary, this would be a good jump start into learning critical words then going on to listen stories afterwards, with the knowledge you've gotten."

A very detailed pronunciation guide

"There was a very detailed pronunciation guide/table provided in the first few chapters. I was slightly confused on a couple of the rules, but barring that, the plethora of everyday French phrases provided in subsequent chapters as well as their concise pronunciation guide helped me learn a lot! I used to never know which syllables would run together or which vowels to stress, but their pronunciation guide's English pronunciation was supremely helpful."

A great introduction

"This is a great introduction to common words and phrases. I like how each entry give examples of how the word is used in everyday language. The offerings range from intro to advanced (y and en), which are typically challenging in an academic setting."

Appreciated the context sentence examples

"I appreciated the context sentence examples, that also were full of high frequency phrases, so listening the whole book was very reinforcing of the information. I've seen websites before with frequency lists of phrases, and this was a more approachable structured way to go through studying those kinds of phrases."

Both logical and informative.

"I have used a variety of methods in my quest to improve my French. This book easily ranks among the best I have come across for increasing French phrases. It is both logical and informative. For anyone who is sincerely motivated to learn French, I highly recommend this book."

I’m getting exactly what I hoped for

"I turned to this book for help with phrases and pronunciation, and I’m getting exactly what I hoped for. The nonchalant tone of the author helped me learn more without getting overwhelmed. A lot of language books will simply list the pronunciations of words/letters and it ends up feeling like some sterile rule book. But a lot of the lessons end with something like “don’t worry, you got this”. It actually helps! There was even some information about the French lifestyle, like taboos and (my favorite) food."

I found a lot to love about this book

"I found a lot to love about this book. For an absolute beginner, like myself, there are a couple of very useful features. Firstly, there’s a detailed pronunciation guide, and it tells you more than the sound of the letters. For example, it draws parallels between English sounds and French sounds, and it teaches you tricks for remembering when a letter is silent. If that’s not enough, there’s a link to a free, downloadable French language pack – and if you follow the author on Facebook, he provides additional support with daily words and expressions."

His book is very concise and specific

"I really enjoyed this French phrase book. I have been struggling for some time to find a book or another relevant resource that thoroughly explains French pronunciation rules. This book is very concise and specific in teaching its readers on how to pronounce hard-to-sound-out words and phrases."
