Would you consider the audio edition of Karneval in Köln (Learn German with Stories - 10 Short Stories for Beginners) to be better than the print version?

I now have bought both the audible and eBook version of this book , they go hand in hand. It is not easy to find good books at a upper beginner to intermediate level of German and the author addresses this area in excellent fashion. Some of the German phrases have been used in earlier books which I like thus revising from the past along with new phrases and ideas . Would like to see some of the authors other / non beginner range of books done in audio fashion in the future. Go for it please Andre.

Recommend , recommend , recommend My level of German has improved immensely since I started buying this series of books. They are price friendly also.

Have you listened to any of André Klein’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have bought all of the 3 audio books that exist at this point in time. They are all excellent , they are not too long or not short . Being able to speed up the spoken text with the Audible App is a great bonus also.

A Wonderful Way to Reinforce Learning

Mr. Klein's books are one of the most enjoyable touchstones in my language learning program. The vocabulary and grammar used are just right for the level targeted: not so difficult as to make the listener give up, but difficult enough to require repeated listening to internalize the lessons. Dino is a completely relatable character. The cringeworthy situations he finds himself in play nicely off his neerdoell charm. I expect to listen to the entire series several times before I'm done with it.

It's been a long while since the previous installment came out in audio, and I haven't looked at the printed version in a while too, but it's really great to be able to understand the audio. Andre' is one of a kind in this niche of German learning tools through stories.

First time listening didn't understand much maybe a word or two every other sentence and it's amazing how much I understood the second time! :) I'll try it again for a third after I listen to a different story or two

These are very entertaining stories

From context, you can discover so much in terms of grammar, pronunciation conjugation, etc., if you're trying to learn a new language. Once you know a good handful of nouns and verbs, this is a great way to see how they go together.

Every time you listen, you pick up another word you didn't realize the first time around. I bought every one in this series. I love Ferien in Frankfurt too.
