Especially written in simple, easy Spanish for experienced beginning and low-intermediate students, each chapter is followed by a glossary of Spanish words and expressions and their respective English translations, as well as by fun and simple exercises especially designed to increase the student´s comprehension and vocabulary based on the understanding that reading is "a complex, active process of constructing meaning" instead of "mere skill application".

Not for beginners
I used to speak fluently and still understand almost all Spanish speaking, so this was a breeze of course... BUT I definitely would not recommend for beginners.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was easy to read and an exciting, gripping story. I'm at that intermediate stage in Spanish where I'm trying to increase vocabulary, idioms, and grammar. While listtening this was rather easy and taught me a lot, I'm still not quite confident enough to attempt to express these thoughts in Spanish.
I highly recommend this book
