Chinese Phrase Book for Beginners

Any additional comments?

This is the perfect Chinese phrase book for beginners. I love the fact that it includes the flash card section so you can practice your phrases. I use this audio book along with my kindle version that way I can read and listen. This ways seems to work best! If you are new to learning Chines I recommend reading the book or listening to this audio book.

NO FLASH CARDS!

This audio book includes the print version (digitized) of the book, but there are NO flash cards. In the Audible description, it promises flash cards. Very disappointed, since a book does not function the same way flash cards do.
I guess it is better than nothing at all, but deceptive. For the deception, I give it 1 star. Not sure who to hold accountable for the deception, Audible, or the publisher.

Terrific

There's a good amount of grammar, balanced with useful conversational phrases, and vocabulary. Everything is organized extremely well and written in a way that's easy to understand.

Lovin it!

Any additional comments?

As someone going to China for a couple of weeks, I was looking for an audible book that would allow me to function without requiring in depth learning of the language. By showing both the mandarin and pinyin, allows easy pronunciation of the words and tones.

Easy and Fun

The book is clean, offering descriptions and explanations of the vocabulary and terminology. It explains how to pronounce each vowel clearly and even has external links in the book you can click to hear a native speaker saying the sounds.
