Disappointing

It’s essentially a compilation of articles you could find in an afternoon looking through blogs about wellness and environmentally conscious decisions. If you want or need one source for these ideas, it’s well executed. Nothing was concretely sourced and just as bad, not much about Scandinavian lifestyles aside from a mention of house colors and coffee breaks. I had hoped to hear how their economy and society differ from a US one and how a US citizen may adapt despite the limitations. For example, the work life chapter is a bit ridiculous. The toxic culture of one-upmanship and constantly being available at risk of your job makes the author’s advice seem unrealistic. The book focuses on individual actions and changes but neglects the impact of policy and structure.
