Very interesting!

I received a free audio review copy of this audiobook. All opinions are my own. (Edit: I enjoyed this so much that I purchased the Kindle edition, the sequel, and the spinoff novella.)

I really enjoyed this. The world-building was well done and the plot was very interesting, even though I predicted the twist at the end. The rhythm of the narration was a bit off at times, but I noticed it less as the book went on. I also would have preferred a bit more variation in character voices. Overall, this was a great book (5/5 story) and I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

Great story!

I was at the edge of my seat listening to this! I had purchased a hard copy first but then when the audiobook was released I leapt at the chance to hear it. Great listen! Great read! Can’t wait to get started on the next book!

Milo and Margot

I loved it! I did not really see traditional romance, but there was definitely a relationship between Milo and Margot. Milo is twisted, and basically rotten to the core to use Margot this way. However, in the end it sounds like Margot got to him, and maybe in book 2 he will not be as evil. This can definitely be series, and I hope there will be a book 2! The story is interesting. The characters are unique, with their own strong personalities. I would love to hear more about that magical powder which brought back all the memories. I would love to see Milo, and even some his staff, become “human” and fall in love. The narration was excellent. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.

fun and interesting

This was a great story. very interesting storyline and loved the romance element, even though it was a little twisted. Hope to see more in the next book.
