Your Bube will love these ladies!

These stories resonated with me as a born New Yorker until the last two stories.i loved narrator until the last two stories. Sounded like my Bube talking, then the voice changed for some reason and the volume got lower and the story go slower. I read this one because Lore Segal’s new book is coming out and I wanted to be the feel for her writing.
Like I said the Ladies’ Lunch was great until the last two stories. Love the voice of the author and love the feel of the character. Looking forward to the next book!
