Interested enough in storyline to listen to this 2nd book despite AI voice

So, AI voice is still annoying with no inflections,etc. And storyline a bit predictable in places, but still interesting enough to keep reading 2nd and now a 3rd installment especially since they are free!

This series gets better and better. I cannot recommend it enough. I am binge reading this series a book a day. I can’t put it down.

The computer narrator is disappointing, it mispronounces words and has no feeling. Please read this series rather than listening unless like me you drive a lot and can can mostly ignore the computer’s mistakes

Lost in the Past Bk 2

I love this series - I wouldn't call this a cozy - it's a murder mystery that is so well written - It would capture everyone from 13 to 100 years of age that enjoys murder mysteries and falls for it's characters. There is no smut, and no swearing and I don't usually seek out either, nor do I care when the story adds either - but WOW, the character development and intrigue had me listening to the entire series in 2 days -that's how much I enjoyed it!
Virtual voice - was the only down side to this amazing story. My problem with virtual voice is, some words are pronounced properly and sarcasm is totally lost in conversation - lastly expressions like "tomato / to-mat-toe" are lost on virtual voice.
We all know Misty Raven is hiding something in book one but as I followed Misty along, I wanted to be her friend and confidant. She's strong, independent, yet not overtly -
This is my favorite murder mystery story I've listen to this year - hope to see more from Jenny Elaine -

All the Twists and Turns

I am really enjoying listening to this series. Just when you think you have figured out who is guilty, you suddenly discover how wrong you are are😊

AI isn’t very good

AI as the voice has no emotion. I’m only finishing the sequel because of the story.

Enjoyable

Even though this was virtual voice, it wasn’t bad. Change the voice speed to 1.25 and the narration was good. The storyline was entertaining as well.

if you're looking for a cozy mystery....look elsewhere. this is not for you. I read it all but regret it.

It was hard to enjoy this book. The AI Narration was monotone throughout. I think I would have enjoyed the story more of I had read the book.
