The world is increasingly dark, physically and morally. Wickedness seems to be everywhere. But God is light. What does this say about God? Is darkness more powerful than God?

We find that God managed light and darkness from the beginning of time and will continue His supreme power over light throughout eternity.

He uses light and darkness to distinguish optical light as well as differences in good and evil. One section chronicles Moses and his encounters with light, showing how God used light to instruct, lead, and protect His chosen people.

The book explores biblical prophesies regarding light found in the Old Testament and New Testament. We see that God foretold His use of light in times past and into the future. It predicts the appearance of a great light, the Light of the world, Jesus Christ. It also speaks of times when light and darkness are used to judge wickedness. It foretells a time when Jesus will reign and when His followers will be enveloped in the light of heaven in the presence of the Source of light.

The appearance and use of light is described for light coming directly from God, light displayed by Jesus, and light coming from believers.
