great, but....
overall loved the book, tho at times it was a bit long in extra things which I didn't really need to know.
I was a bit put out by how it ended, seemingly suddenly, and the items & insights which brought forth the "aha, i got it" moment were weak in my opinion. Nothing hinted at that which apparently were huge hints for our Commissary..... i did not like the way this crime was solved....
but i loved the convoluted overall story.

Spannendes Buch
Sehr gute, lang ausholende Geschichte mit sehr traurigen Hintergründen. Der Leser war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig für mich. Nicht unbedingt eine Stimme die ich für dieses Buch ausgewählt hätte. Gebe zu ich stand kurz davor es abzubrechen. Ging aber dann doch nach einer Weile.

Love the setting, story and length...
I love a long audiobook and these German regional crime novels always deliver. The reader is good and all the characters are interesting. Reminds me a little if early Minette Walters. Will definitely try and get hold of the others.

Guter spannender Krimi , mit netten Charaktern.
Die Nordsee wird schön beschrieben. Der Plot ist twisted aber interessant. Es ist schön wie die Autorin ein Gleichgewicht zwischen dem Grausamen und dem Friedlichen erschafft. Langweilig wird es nie, aber auch nicht zu hektisch. Und gut gelesen ist es auch. Ich habe das Buch genossen, und brauch jetzt das Nächste :)

Eine komplexe, verwirrende Geschichte. Ich glaube, ich muß sie mehrere Male hören. Es sind viele, viele Charaktere, die weiter entwickelt werden sollten in die Fortsetzungen.
