Therapy is a vulnerable space, a place to sit with our own distress, a space where we explore the raw authenticity of our own feelings with our therapist. Does that mean that therapy always guarantees us comfort and safety? Is it created in the therapy room or is it pre-existing? Why do we even want to feel safe?
