In the second book we continue to follow our protagonists as they fight in the skies above Malta to the fjords of Iceland. Allied strength grows day by day, slowly grinding down German’s military forces at sea and in the air. Meanwhile disillusionment and disgust within sections of the army, and Germany’s navy, grows with their Fuehrer and the men who surround him. Eventually forces within Germany decided to act. Will the plot to replace Hitler succeed or is Germany doomed to be destroyed in its cataclysmic struggle with the Allies? Section of this book are directed at explaining battles in the European theater, both at sea and on the land. Other areas look at Germany’s attempt to broker a peace agreement and the various Allied leaders responses to these efforts.
