Publisher's Summary

A single father struggles to change for his daughters and the woman he loves in this second audiobook in the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club series from New York Times best-selling author Chantal Fernando.

As a single father of two girls and the sergeant at arms for the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club, Jack “Knuckles” Chester doesn’t have much free time. And having earned his road name from his reputation as a fighter, Knuckles isn’t one to back away from a challenge. But what he'll never admit out loud is that his two daughters have changed him irrevocably, softened him even. And these two girls are the only women who will ever hold his heart forever.

That is, until he meets Celina. Celina is nothing like the women Knuckles used to date. She’s a journalist for the local newspaper and basically just has her life together. The last thing she wants is to be involved with a Cursed Raven. But when the ripped, badass biker worms his way into her heart, she has trouble remembering all the reasons they would never work.

When a shocking story is published in her newspaper, it breaks the thin trust she has with Knuckles. Will she lose him forever? Or will Knuckles fight to keep Celina in his life?

Narrator was a flop

second book in this series and the narrator was just as bad as the first book. I struggled to finish this book. The story itself was boring and the narrative just made it worse. I was disappointed in this book.

Horrible Narrator

This might have had the potential to be a good book if the female narrator didn’t kill it. I tried sticking it out but fell asleep and when I did listen all I could focus on was how bad the narrator was. Doesn’t anyone listen to the book before it’s released? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Could have been better

Would have been better if Joe Arden would have narrated all by himself. Erica Davis is the worst narrator I have ever listened to. I listened to it all but it was a struggle. I couldn't hardly tell who was who that was speaking, because her voice never changed whether it was a woman or man. Erica Davis is truly a horrible narrator.

My fav in the series

*****Some spoilers below*****
Narration surpassed the first book and I was glad for that. Unlike some reviewers I enjoyed the narrator. Heroine was badass. beautiful. a bit insecure and handled her issues maturely. It certainly wasnt insta love for her. I'm glad she didnt take the hero's alphaman shit. Hero was a superb father and knew exactly what he wanted. I loved that he apologized for his shortcomings and handled it well. Didnt get fazed by the heroine's rejections. His cheating ex wife was a bitch. When the baby was stolen at the end, I almost cried. But the HEA came through and all was right in my world again. Looking forward to Rogue's story

Annoyed

I’ve been listening to this author because of recommendations in a group in Facebook. The Wind Dragon series I couldn’t Er through because the narrator was awful and it was 1st person and one POV. I then tried this series because apparently I’m a glutton for punishment. The 1st book was good and the narrator was better but again it was only 1 POV which in my experience a book really has to be well written to pull off a 1st person and 1 POV. I didn’t have anything else in my library and really felt like listening to an MC Romance but the heroine in that book was SUPER annoying and childish as hell. Why then did you listen to yet another book by this author? You might ask... well the answer is I saw this one had 2 narrators and I was really hoping for a dual POV. And yet again I was let down by this author. And by the time I realized that it was basically another 1 person POV and that it was going to be all in the heroines POV I was too invested (time wise) to quit. At least she was mature and not an annoying character but I don’t typically like the female only POV if an MC Romance has to be in 1 POV I prefer the Males. Well let me tell you in this misleading book his POV only comes in at the very end and he gets about a paragraph or 2😒. The books aren’t bad but not worth a credit. Thankfully they are part of the Escape package otherwise I would have returned the books. #CristinasAudiobookObessions

Just a medium

First, if you've read/listened to the Wind Dragon series, you'll be disappointed here. Second, Joe Arden is the last chapter, which is too bad. He is one of my favorites.
The female narrator does not change her tone/inflection between characters or character thoughts. It's had to tell who is talking or if they are simply thinking.
The story is fine. A better read than a listen. Don't spend the money or the credit on this one. Wait to see if goes to the romance package.

not as good as the wind dragon MC series

okay so I started this series because I really really liked the wind dragon MC series that the author wrote. I had high hopes and I had bought the first two books in this series because of the quality of writing in the other series. The storylines are fine, but I feel like character development in these are just not up to the same standard as the other books. I feel like the author portrays the same quality traits for each female lead, even though their stated traits (main leaf always has to be in control and has trust issues) and the portrayed traits (following a guy and doing whatever he says) are vastly different. I was able to force myself to get through the first book and only to chapter 11 in this one. It's safe to say I'm not going to read the rest.

All Bikers With Weard Names

This story was a bit uninventful. I certainly thought the writer could have used more conventional names for the bikers, who names Rogue, Knuckle, Ace, etc... Very disappointing since Joe Arden only narrated the epilogue. Therefore, it was misleading, ugh!

Not my favourite

I just want you to be aware that joe Arden doesn’t have a part in this book the only narrative is at the end....
for me I just didn’t find anything that kept me wanting to find out more
I love Chantal Fernando books this is the only one I didn’t want to waste time finishing
