Her body's greatest shame was their darkest desire.

Sadie is on the run, escaping an abusive ex with a humiliating secret: a hormonal imbalance that causes her to lactate. Stranded and desperate in rural Texas, she takes a job as a bookkeeper on a remote ranch, hoping for a place to hide and heal.
But the ranch belongs to three formidable alphas: the stoic Mason, the playful Bryce, and the watchful Reid. They see past her defenses to the frightened omega beneath, and her unique scent calls to their most primal, possessive instincts. They don't just offer her a sanctuary; they offer her a new kind of cage, one gilded with pleasure and dark promises whispered in the dark.
When they discover her secret, her body's betrayal becomes their obsession. They teach her that what she thought was a curse is a gift meant only for them, their mouths and possessive words showing her a dark, thrilling new purpose. But as she surrenders to their claiming, the monster from her past closes in, forcing her new protectors to show just how savage they can be to protect what's theirs.

This standalone book has themes of Omegaverse, why choose, reverse harem, forced proximity, hurt/comfort, found family, lactation, protective alphas, knotting, and a guaranteed HEA.

I am writing this during the fifth chapter with my jaw on the floor. I haven’t ever not finished a book, but wow. I want to….

Okay, I finished it. Finally. Only so I can give a truly fair review.

This is not standard forced proximity. This is literally ra pe of someone that cannot leave. I’ve never had to write that word in a review, so I’m not sure if the word gets flagged. She literally did not want to. Then it became something like Stockholm Syndrome? I think that actually takes longer to happen than this, so I’m not sure if that would be the actual term. More like she had more fear of the man she was running from in the beginning, so she stayed.

I’m not going to get into the milk play that was constant. Is this extreme milk play a thing? Why produce milk if you’re not pregnant or have a baby to feed? Why was it used erotically in every scene? Make it make sense. I guess I lied and got into discussing it, but I just don’t understand.

Two stars only because it is about alphas/omega and reverse harem, as described… I don’t even want to give it stars. This was disturbing to me, because it is justified in the story like they had a right to do it.

Narration by AI, which was in the description. I gave credit for that disclosure and I’ve heard worse AI than this one.

Anyway, you’ve been warned.
