Great Read
Kitty Valentine Dates a Doctor (Kitty Valentine #2) was another great read by Jillian Dodd. Kitty Valentine is a best selling author who has had many successful releases. When one of her books totally bombs, her editor suggests that she starts writing sexier books. Kitty knows that she starts to do this and her best friend makes a hot guy spinning wheel to help with who she should date for inspiration next. Although Kitty signed up for a dating site, she meets doctor Jake when she goes to the ER. I really enjoyed reading Kitty’s story and can’t wait to read more of her new writing journey.

A Hot Doc
I enjoyed reading the story of Kitty and Dr. Jake Becker. He's truly swoonworthy and a great sport to put up with Kitty's grandmother. The introduction of Kitty's grandmother gave the reader better insight into the family dynamics and family history. While I loved Jake and how cute he and Kitty were together, something in this story fell just a bit flat from the last one. 4 stars even.
The narrator did a great job at bringing these characters to life.

Cute Summer Read
I wish there were half stars as I really would say this book is a 3.5. I have not read the first book in the series but Kitty Valentine Dates a Doctor is a great short, romantic summer read. Kitty Valentine is a romance author who with a scheme from her best friend, spins the wheel of tropes to find who to date next to gather material for her next book. It's fun watching Kitty look for a doctor on a dating app when really she just needed an ankle injury to land her in the ER to find Jake. While I wish the book ended with a HEA, only because I love my romance books to, I can't wait to see which Rock Star she finds in her next adventure and who she will end up with at the end of this series!

Yay for a new installment of Kitty!
Yay for a new installment of Kitty! After reading the first book in the series where Kitty dated a billionaire, I have been so excited to read about her new adventure. This premise is so fun! I absolutely adore Kitty's personality- she's quirky and awkward and it's so fun to follow her as she attempts to expand her romance writing repertoire. It was great to see more of her neighbor Matt (although there were a bit more at odds in this installment) and get to know her best friend Hayley better too. Kitty's Grandmother was such a hoot! It's so interesting to get a peek into the world of a writer- see conversations with her agent and I loved getting to read Kitty's new book as she was writing it. Lisa Cordileone was a fantastic narrator and she voiced Kitty just as I imagined her. I cannot wait to listen to Kitty's next adventure!
