Publisher's summary

At fourteen, Audrey has the perfect life: great parents, great buddies, and her best friend, Asher.

Only lately Asher has begun to change. He seems distant and standoffish, ignoring Audrey. Not all of the changes are bad. He’s growing from a pretty boy into a handsome man, and Audrey is all too aware of that. But if they cross the line from friends to something more, will things stay the same, or will she lose her best friend forever?

This is not an erotic story. It is the prequel to the events that unfold in Asher, book one of Inked Brotherhood, and sets up many of the characters of the series.

Hello

My 1st Jo Raven book. I’m not a big fan of prequels even though I can never resist them. This was okay for an intro to Jo’s writing and the brotherhood. It hooked me well enough to dive into Asher’s book.💖

Prequel

A quick prequel novella to give some insight on Ash & Audrey. It was quick and heartbreaking.

prequel

this is just a prequel of Asher and Audrey story. it tells us a little bit of their backstory how they met how they've been friends forever how it seems like Audrey has all these feelings and she's not sure how at your feels, but at a party everything switches and it was very intense but at the very end Asher has now decided that he is not going to talk to her or speak to her again. Audrey goes home crying and that's how the prequel pretty much ends. it sounds like it's going to be a pretty nice story I really like Asher I don't know why yet but he seems like he's troubled and I want to know why he's troubled because something's going on and some of his friends know and they're not letting Audrey know so I want to know what's going on. so I'm going to get into Asher and see how it's going because I think this is going to be a really good series it's the first I've seen it and I was excited and I wanted to see if I was going to like it so I listen to the prequel it was well worth my time.

On to the main book!

This is a very short prequel that piqued my interest. A best friends relationship gone awry.

Confusing

How old are these kids supposed to be? It doesn’t make much sense. They sound like they’re supposed to be like 10(?), but then one of them is making out with some guy who has his own car sooooooooo?????
